According DetikOto, (02/09/2015), quoted from Visordown site describe that where the motor was first prescribed by a patent filed by Honda some time ago. The patent describes the V4 engine version of the MotoGP bike public roads, RC213V-S, mounted on a semi-monocoque chassis.
The patent refers to the mass production of a 1.000cc Honda motor sport. Therefore, the motor frame is believed to be made in manufacturing, not handmade like RC213V-S that would require a lot of time.
Another indication of the existence of RVF brands including filing the trademark of Honda filed in several countries.
